Foreword

I am filled with delight as we commemorate this significant milestone in our academic journey – the publication of the inaugural issue of the Journal of Emergent Research in Humanities, Business, and Technology (JER-HBT) by the ELM Graduate School of HELP University. This journal stands as a testament to our institution’s commitment to fostering research excellence and knowledge dissemination across diverse disciplines.

On behalf of the entire university community, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Professor Dr. Thang Siew Ming, the Chief Editor of JER-HBT, and her team for their tireless efforts in bringing this scholarly publication to fruition.

At HELP University, we have always cherished the spirit of academic inquiry and knowledge creation. JER-HBT embodies this spirit by providing a platform for scholars and experts from various fields to present their research and insightful perspectives. The journal’s multidisciplinary nature reflects the dynamism of contemporary academia, where the boundaries between humanities, business, and technology intersect and inspire new frontiers of knowledge.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Dean of the ELM Graduate School, Dr. Nicholas Lum who has been instrumental in establishing this prestigious journal. I also wish to commend the dedicated reviewers who have contributed their time and expertise to rigorously assess the submitted papers. To all the contributors to JER-HBT, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for sharing your research and insights with the academic community. Your contributions enrich our collective understanding and inspire further explorations into emerging areas of study.

Once again, congratulations to Professor Dr. Thang Siew Ming and her team for their exceptional work in launching JER-HBT. I encourage all members of our academic community to explore the journal’s insightful contents and engage in the vibrant discourse it inspires.

Thank you all for your continued dedication to advancing knowledge and academic excellence.

Prof. Dr. Liew Teik Kooi (Andy)

Acknowledgement

I would like to take this moment to convey my heartfelt gratitude to all the individuals who have contributed to the realization of ELM Graduate School’s dream of launching an academic journal of scholarly standing. First and foremost, special thanks go to the Dean of the ELM Graduate School, who spearheaded the efforts to create this academic journal. I am also immensely grateful to all the academics from HELP University and other universities who generously contributed their time and expertise as part of the editorial team and advisory board members.

As we release the first issue of the journal, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the editor team members who have worked diligently in managing and curating the various articles submitted for this inaugural edition. Equally deserving of praise are the reviewers who took on the responsibility of evaluating the submitted papers and gave constructive and invaluable advice and counsel to both the authors of these papers and the editors.

Once again, I thank all of you for your valuable contributions. With your continual support, I am confident we will be able to produce a high-quality, scholarly journal that can make a positive impact on the academic landscape.
